This issue’s cover comes from friend Harvey Pennington, avid participant in the Matthew Quigley Buffalo Rifle Shoot for many years. “The Quigley,” as it has come to be known, is the most successful black powder cartridge rifle shoot in the world. Typically, it boasts over 600 shooters, but this year saw a drop in numbers due to inclement weather. There was, however, a hard core of riflemen that stuck it out in defiance of rain and mud; the story is a good one and you can read all about it in this issue. Thanks, Harvey for a great cover and story!
