Robert came into possession of this great single shot and did extensive research on the original owner and many aspects of his life, including his service in the Civil War and later in life, his purchase of this rifle. It all makes for a great article in this issue and one I’m sure you will enjoy. Saathoff also believes, as we do, that vintage rifles should be shot and he details his efforts in his article.
